The regenerated oil is then fed to a storage tank 6, and the roganic solvent is fed through a condenser 7 and joined with the organic solvent from a storage tank 3 and fed to the extracting apparatus 1. USE:The compsn. serves as protective and lubricating grease for wire rope used in an atmosphere susceptible to irradiation with radiation.

CONSTITUTION:A waste oil or waste grease such as that from lubricant, electical oil, various process oils, etc. is held in a cylindrical plastic thin-film of about 20mu thick, made from e.g. a polypropylene-polyethylene copolymer. The bottom of the film is then immersed in an organic solvent such as petroleum ether; and from the upper part, petroleum ether is made to flow down continuously to extract a pure lubricant component alone from the waste. The extracted component is then warmed to distil the petroleum ether off, thus recovering the pure oil and the petroleum ether respectively.

Even if the liquid permeable supporting body 5 is pressurized with the solvent, the membrane 2 maintains the predetermined shape. The refined solvent is sent through a take-out port 4b to a refined solvent storage tank 9. The impurities in the solvent to be treated are discharged through a discharge port 3b.

摘要： PURPOSE:To seek increase in treatment efficiency for reuse of waste oil and waste grease with selective extraction of oil component and nondeteriorated additives in the wastes and with separation of unnecessary components through sedimentation, by incorporating acetone in an organic extraction solvent. CONSTITUTION:A solvent is first prepared by mixing (1) 100 parts by wt. of an organic extraction solvent in ordinary use, such as a hydrocarbon solvent, ether solvent, alcohol solvent, etc. with (2) preferably 10-90 parts by wt. of acetone. Next, using the solvent, waste oil and/or waste grease from engine oil for motor vehicles and ships or spindle oil are treated to separate oil layer from unnecessary substances, thus effecting easy regeneration of active ingredients alone. If required, a small amount of acetone is further added to the regenerated oil layer to separate an oil component of higher purity.
